Cecelia Radeski, D.C.
I’ve been a practicing chiropractor for 25 years and still love what I do. I’ve always been passionate about health and fitness. Being a chiropractor gives me a great way to share this passion with my patients and to continue my lifelong path of education in the healing arts, health and the healing arts.
My education began with a BS in kinesiology from UCLA and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. Over the years I’ve been profoundly influenced by coursework in Applied Kinesiology, Sacro Occipital Technique, Kinesiotaping, Craniosacral Therapy, core stabilization exercises and nutrition.
Inspired by the clear impact these modalities have on health, I’ve combined elements of each into my practice. As a result, my work integrates traditional chiropractic adjustments of the spine and extremities with soft tissue release and reeducation, supportive exercises, and nutritional recommendations. I recognize that no two patients or injuries are exactly alike; treatment is highly individualized to find the most effective way to facilitate each patient’s healing process. My first and last aim is always to support the individual’s journey to improved health.
A Sonoma County resident since 1990, I currently live in Santa Rosa with my partner and our teenaged son. As a dedicated sports parent, I’m also an active volunteer at his high school. We love to hike, travel, and attend Giants games. I’ve always loved sports and exercise and have competed in swimming, volleyball, running events from 5Ks to half marathons, tennis and intercollegiate crew. Currently I make yoga, tennis, hiking and weight training part of every week. Reading, too, is a passion—both fiction and anything that adds to my understanding of the body. Our family loves to entertain relatives and friends, which naturally includes sampling our great Sonoma County wines.
I’m honored that people trust me to be part of their health care team. I strive to help my patients achieve a better understanding of their bodies and how to live comfortably in them.
